What do you do?

Professional sound engineer.
I mix bands for a living.
Been tour manager and FOH engineer with the Funk Brothers for 4 years.

I'm a part time server at a local seafood restaurant with the aspirations of being a professional audio engineer like mrtapes had mentioned! I run sound for a local church and do a few jobs here and there primarily for friends and family.

I'm a professional student, I have received my B.S., working towards my J.D. (Law School), MBA, and managing to see how high I can rack up my Student Loan Debt before the Feds cut me off (My friends keeping asking what degree I want to get next, and wonder when I will start studying for the MCATs).

Really I'm a Law Student, I work at a firm as a Law Clerk currently, and I'm getting ready to take the bar in July.

Senior Laboratory Analyst for a major specialty chemicals company. I get to play with all the fun instrumentation like you see on CSI...GC's, HPLC's, IC's, ICP's, etc. A lot of wet chemistry, method formulation, a little R&D thrown in occasionally.

I take your tax dollars and spend in on cigars so that I can smoke and review them. Its a rough life and its a very dirty job. But I am willing to do it. Full time cigar smoker. Part time Disabled Vet. :D

Deputy Director for a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business........specialize in technology (SW, HW, IT)

oh yah.....part time rat bast#rd

USAF Officer. Pilot by training, but flying a desk right now.

Almost done with my 20 years... Supposed to retire this summer, but job hunting FROM Qatar is not that easy...

It's all on my personal web page if anyone cares to read.

Good to see someone within a related field.

I supervise Psychiatric Crisis Workers who work with adolescent teenagers on an acute care unit. Basically these kids are at immediate risk of harm to themselves or others. Drug addictions, homicidal ideation's, suicidal ideation's, cutters, depression, conduct disorders etc etc etc.

Cigars are a great way to unwind and relax after a crazy day (pardon the pun)

For the last 5 years I've been a "Child Protection Worker" (Child abuse investigations) and am also currently president of my CUPE Local.

I work as the GOV/MIL Sales and Contract manager for a company specializing in Body Armor, Tactical Equipment, Chemical Decon, Mobility Containers, and some survival equipment.

I'm a machinist by training and worked in it directly for over 25 years. I then went to a machine tool importer for a bit as an applications engineer. Currently a technical sales support specialist for a major carbide insert maker, I'm about to make the move to direct sales.

I was watching a TV show many years ago and remember a personality (no longer recall who) saying "Every man should change his occupation at age 50". I guess I'm about to do that. I had taken a weekend job selling used cars for a 30-car lot guy last year to see if I could do this, and surprised myself by doing really well at it. The guy I was working for had older cars that he paid too much for, and I still managed to sell very near as many in 2 days per week as he did in five.

I see myself doing this for a time, but eventually I do want to go sell BMW's until I'm too old to drive or walk. It's a car I love and if you really believe in what you sell, it's the first step to success.

I test the speed limit on road curves to make sure you don't roll your vehicle. :sign:

I know, its not even a good pickup line. Actually I am just a low-ly warehouse worker.

I want your job. No, seriously, I'm a failed college musician with an interest in sound and recording.

Being in MA, you probably have a large BMW dealer network in that area, or at least the surrounding area. I have never sold our cars, but I applaud the guys who do, and have stuck it out even in this poor market we have. My job relies on the dealers putting out our product.

We've got many BMW dealers around me, but all are owned by 3 major players: Herb Chambers, Ron Wagner and one other whose name I don't know (but owns three.) If I land at one someday, it'll be Wagner by choice because I've met him and he's a good guy who employed a great friend of mine as manager of his BMW motorcycle dealership until just before his passing late last year.

Full Time real estate investor, specializing in Short Sales (Pre Forclosure)

I sell fencing to the home centers. If you've bought cedar fencing from Home Depot or Lowe's it most likely came from our mill.
