Bought a collapsible Blackstone Griddle after Jeff @CigarStone sent me a video showing a ribeye steak being cooked on one. Jeff cooked a three finger thick steak on our cabin trip in PA, and man was it good! I had my go at it tonight. I love the versatility of the Blackstone.

This is the video. If you follow his method exactly, other than using whatever seasoning you have, you will be amazed! I don't have a Blackstone yet but I do it on my cast iron griddle on the grill..... great flavor from the grill!

Big shout out to @dawgie for sending this spice to me as my secret Santa. Thanks brother!

For cleaning my blackstone I just use a 6 in putty knife and heat the griddle until you can squirt water on it and it boils. Squirt and scape. Squirt and scrape. No fancy tools needed to clean. Then squirt on veg oil then wipe it around with a paper towel until it smokes wiping the whole time to keep the oil from coagulating.

FYI not long ago Dollar Tree had little aluminum rectangle shaped pans that work great to catch the grease etc in, then just throw away. Cheaper than what they sell special for them.

Are we still talking about a blackstone?

My wife and I went to this Japanese place in San Diego it's really good it's not sushi everything is grilled and cooked. I had the beef stew my wife had the chicken Tails chicken wings I think liver and something else. We tend to go there at least once a week. The prices are really reasonable. Oh yeah I love the french fries!!

A restaurant close to us has a soup like the one you have pictured last. The broth is amazing, and they use Udon noodles in it. Think I know what I'm doing for lunch now tomorrow.
