Lots of good ones listed so far

I'd add
Fight Club
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Drunken Master
Princess Mononoke
Which Drunken Master? The original or the Return of? The original was great. But only a Kung Fu classic. It wouldn't even make my all time top 20, but definately in my top 10 Kung Fu movies.
I see Fight Club brought up a few times. It is definately one you can watch over and over, and each time see something you missed all the previous times you watched it.

I meant the original. I guess you need to consider movies that are great in the theater vs at home.
The original Drunken Master in a theater packed with martial arts movie fans is a great experience.

Fargo (was just amazed at Wm Macy's performance, he got robbed at the Oscars)
Pulp Fiction
Citizen Kane
Cassablanca

Shawshank Redemtion
Great Escape

Young Frankenstien (oh sweet mystery of life at last I found you)
Blazing Saddles (where the white women at?)
Pink Panther (most of em)
Airplane (Jim Abrahams David Zucker, fellow Milwaukeeans)
Top Secret
Stripes
Caddyshack

I'm suprised it took someone that long to mention that classic. Now, how about a favorite scene. Personally I liked the car wash scene, but the candlestick scene was OK too.
