I just had a bad cbid experience. I called "customer service" and they said, "We have no record of the cigars you won in our database." They offered what they always do - a refund on what they sent instead of the original release Diplomas I thought I bid on. This is not what I expect from customer service. When they screw the pouch this badly they should offer something as recompense.

Yes, you can get some great deals on cbid. But this kind of thing seems to happens way too often and there ARE other good deals on great cigars out there. On the positive side, I'm CURED!

Oh, yeah. They got the rest right. La Aurora Puro Vintage 2003 Salomone, Torano Tribute, and the RP X-Outs Liga 'C' Corojo Torps I like so much. :whistling:

Same here. 601 sampler and I added a couple of singles. 1 CAO Cx2 Robusto (just because I've never had a CAO and this one had my attention) and 3 Avalon 52 Cameroon Oscuro Churchills. I've never had this particular Avalon, but I have had the Hellhound and the Juke Ebony and I'm a big fan. Do yourself a favor and check out some of Avalon's stuff.

Picked up 3 of the Nub Maduros and a Curlyhead Deluxe Maduro at the local shop today. Looks like tomorrow the weather should be great to finally try the Nubs.

My tee times were washed out during vacation, so I spent
some time visiting a couple local B&Ms in the Poconos area.

Just picked up a couple handfuls of smokes including:

RP 2009 Winter blend
Casa Torano maduro

Going to Holts tomorrow, so there will likely be additions to
this vacation list. Hopefully there will be some Father's Day
Fuente goodies available.

Asylum board. I get to try an ESG, for a reasonable price. Good deal!
Not sure how this will affect purchases at Holts tomorrow, though.

Went to the local shop today in search of some sticks that I have never tried before and this is what I came home with....the only one I have had is the VSG but I just cant seem to pass these up. Oh and I can't wait to try the Cojonu 2009!!!

Holts has plenty of rare sticks on hand, including small OpusX,
WOAMs, Don Carlos Anni's, Gran Anni's, ESGs, etc.
Most are beyond my budget, but perfect for Father's Day
gifts! Hint, Hint.
