Actually, guys, I'm a remodeling contractor...WooHoo... :lookup: :) But, I love my job and look forward to getting up and heading to work...on most days! :love:
 
I have not been around much lately, but do try to monitor the boards when I can !

I am a Social Worker Supervisor for a Foster Family Agency... That means I supervise 5 full time social workers and monitor their cases and loads, and carry 12 families of my own on my personal case load. Not glamorous, but I get paid for playing with kids! ..........I keep saying " they pay me for this!!????"

I also train parents, maintain state licensing standards, do emergency interventions, find homes for children removed from their Biological parents, and help the parents to deal with behaviors that are " not suitable" by creating and implementing behavioral modification programs.

Surely not as fun as running a train, or as heady as rocket science..but it is all I can barely handle at a time! :D
 
I drink coffee for a living....... and try to sell a little of it too! ;) :D

I work for a reginal coffee company out of Baton Rouge, LA.. I think my title is either Area Sales Manager or Strategic Business Development Manager. :lookup: Not really sure since I do both jobs and nobody can determine which department I work for....LOL! My current territory is the Dallas/Ft Worth metro plex.

Hey folks, some great and challenging jobs there, mine may not be too interesting to anyone, but here goes,

I have recently (read 4 months) started my own heavy duty wrecker business, i have one 45 ton wrecker that i tow broken down and wrecked tractor trailers, dump trucks, garbage trucks, concrete trucks, and the occasional beer truck, i also get called out to do minor roadside repairs and pull out stuck trucks and equipment, like bulldoziers and such.

it's probably not that interesting, but i like it, and not many 23 year olds get the opportunity to be in a business like this for themselves, so i am very fortunate there :D
 
if the timing is right there BW, i did have a loaded tractor trailer full of keg beer that turned over one day getting off the exit about two miles from birmingham budwieser, i think they said it was michelobe, at any rate it was hard to work without trying to find a tap LOL

the best benifits so far are the tour busses, i occasionally get a tour bus that gets stuck going into a parking lot, i have met a few smaller bands but last year got to meat "hot tuna",, which is the band made up of jorma koukonen and jack cassidy the guitar and base players from jefferson airplane.

so that can be pretty cool at times too.

Hey BW, do they ship cigars by tractor trailer??????? :0 :p
