Today’s Smoke 2018

Well "G" is for Oliva Series "G" - Torpedo, this one has some time on it, as the cellophane is turned slightly sa from yellow.

Well "G" is for Oliva Series "G" - Torpedo, this one has sometime on it, as the celephane is like the color of saferon rice. Oliva is one of the Cigar brands that is focused upon quality, most are wonderful. Well constructed, burn nice & even, have a semitrical ash, and last nice flavor profile.

Dollar for dollar I call the series "G" a good buy for money spent. Available in many sizes, natural & maduro wrapper. Can't say nothing bad about the blend. JMHO

Yesterday were my go-to Fuente and a KFC pony in the evening talking outside with my sister. No photos for here or the "Sunday" thread -- apologies.

The Illusione Cigares Prive Corojo was one of the handful of Dion's smokes I hadn't tried, and after reading somewhere the cigar was "based on the H-Town lancero" I ordered a fiver. While it was fresher and much larger (the 5x52 robusto is the smallest) than the lancero, it's a great smoke. For the money they're going to be a regular stick in the rotation. If you like Illusiones you should seriously try them. Reminds me of the Casa de Montecristo exclusive but for way less money. 20180709_074033.jpg

H-Town???? You mean the Holy Lance (Says the guy who hasn't been keeping up with the latest/greatest)?

They did an H-Town lancero for Stogies Houston a couple years back. Awesome smokes that sold out quick. Due to the size these robustos remind me more of the Casa de Montecristo shop exclusive, but if you keep an eye out for a 20% Smallbatch sale you could snag a whole box of the Prives for around $160.

Something from Honduras a Aladino - Juliro R. Eiroa, this is one that is under a lot of people radar because they are a small company with not a lot of advertising in the Cigar Rags (magazines) but these are amazing sticks.

Well constructed, good burn quality, nice tight ash, and a flavor profile that makes this a stick a I must have on my personal buy it again list.

Found this brand recently as they were at a 16 vendor event locally, after talking to the representative, I found them on line at a big saving. Worth every penny, just a great smoke, with it heritage being Honduras. If you removed the band IMHO you would think it was a Cuban IMHO.
