Chemiste

Spent 4 nights at Mt Baker, 3 days riding. The terrain there is absolutely unreal. Unfortunately, the snow came on a Friday night (12") so lasted all of 2 runs on Saturday before it was completely destroyed, and the 2 good runs we had were spent dodging the horde of people. Awesome mountain, but also made me appreciate my mom and pop hill here where I can find stashes a week after a storm.

Those passes are awesome. They have a different quip for every day? How's the family/childrens doing? Looks like you are having a blast!

Son partially tore his ACL, going to see the knee doc tomorrow. Daughter is OK. Have to go back to work tomorrow, not looking forward to it!

Ah, that sucks on both counts (knee/work). Hopefully he won't need surgery. Glad your daughter is ok. All good things must come to an end -- back to the grind! How did the camper hold up on the trip?

Not sure why I said "tomorrow" for the doc, it's actually Tuesday. Sounds like they don't like doing surgery when they're still growing, so he'll probably just have to wear a brace. Ironically, similar thing happened to me oldest brother when he was about the same age, and his ACL is still hanging in, though he said every time he skis he feels like it's going to be the day he finishes it off, haha.

Camper was great, though I'm going to remodel a little bit, smaller bed so can just have the table up all the time so I have a bigger surface for cooking, eating, etc. Had to add pretty much every fluid in the truck at some point, but overall it ran like a champ for a 30 year old truck on a looooooong trip.

That's the bad direction, too.

It's relatively new, but growing really fast here. I love it, wish I could have played as a kid.
Keep your eyes on Denver (DU) and Coach Tierney. He used to coach Princeton back in the 90’s when they won more championships then the New England Patriots. Now he is in Denver and he’ll do the same. I think DU is the first team to win the NCAA lacrosse Championship west of the Mississippi. If he has a summer camp, its probably worth sending your son to.

Yep, was near there. I think Mission Ridge is there?

Ironically, just sold a sample to someone in Kennewick today.
I believe Mission Ridge is on the west side somewhere. I'm south eastern Washington. Tumble weeds and sagebrush. Oh and the Hanford site.

Ahh, OK. I was thinking Wenatchee. All the towns there sound the same! Think I might have actually driven through Kennewick.
