Wineadors.com - How to reach?

Gents, I have been quiet for a while, still smoking though.

I've had a terrible experience with wineadors.com. I've read orders can be slow, to be patient. I am patient, most cigar smokers are, but this is just getting ridiculous.

In October 2017 I inquired about an order, delays and shipping to Canada. Yes, 2017, not a typo. Was told to expect 2-3 weeks delays. Order was paid in full on October 18th 2017. Wrote to both email addresses every time

12/21/2017 - Asked for an ETA, no answer
02/20/2018 - Asked for an ETA, only response I've ever got from Forrest.
Hello Marc,
I thought we already sent them. I'll grab the info at the shop tomorrow and find out what we did.
I can always rebuild and send tomorrow too.
Sorry for the error

08/14/2018 - Asked for an ETA, no answer - Went to paypal dispute to this point. BUT it was passed 6 months so they won't help. There goes my patience.

So you get the point. Wrote from the customer form on the website a couple of time asking for a refund/update, then simply from a refund. Asked on the facebook page for an update (after a year) only to get blocked.

I might be old school, but when I pay for a product, I expect either the product, or a money refund. 200$ is 200$.

What would you gents advise I do?

If you still have the credit card that you placed your purchase with, contact them. They may have some sort of consumer protection benefit.

I saw 8 posts since January 5 on Facebook page. 12 months and no resolution is crappy, even for Forrest.

Current emails come from wineadors@gmail.com. He apparently gets new email addresses regularly. The Better Business Bureau gives wineadors.com a rating of "F." I'm at "only" six weeks after being told 2-3. Have been promised shipping that has come and passed with no word. Several folks have posted reports and pics of shoddy workmanship on FB cigar groups. My lesson learned. Don't try to relearn it.

I agree with the previous post on going to your credit card company and let them do the work.

I would see if you CC company would do anything other option involves travel

I wish I would have seen this post before ordering from wineadors.com. I ordered in Dec of 2020 and have yet to receive my item. They do not reply to emails or to the form on their website. After reading this post I will go to paypal for a refund while I still can, it's really sad to not be able to get a response from someone that willingly takes your money. I have tried all the emails listed in the earlier posts to no avail.

I went to paypal last night to file a claim. I asked for a full refund. I'll keep you posted.
Those look great!

Go to their facebook page, they have been more responsive to that. I would recommend not canceling it. You'll get it and it'll be great quality.

Ok I will give it some more time but to be honest, if it takes this long to even answer an email saying sorry it'll be 4 more months then I am not sure I want to do business with them. I can wait as long as I hear from the business, the silence is the issue.

It's my understanding that he is a small operation.

Would you rather he spent the day on social media or out in the shop making saw dust?

I understand he is a small operation which is why I didn't bother to contact him until the 6 week period he stated that my item would ship had passed. It's been 8 weeks with no response which his site states they will reply Tuesday through Thursday if emailed. I would rather he does what he says as well as in the shop making sawdust. All I am asking for is an eta period. How hard is that? He's only in the shop 3 days a week, I am sure he's not that worn out that answering his emails would be an issue.

We used to run the list for folks that screwed the pooch. Wineador.com may need to be added. If it doesn't get resolved by the end of February let us know.

Nah, it doesn't work like that when you are taking someone's money in exchange for a product within a promised time frame. It's not like this is the first transgression -- poor communication and ridiculously delayed delivery is a trend and a regularity. If a buyer enters willingly into the contract full-well knowing this is how it is going to be, then it's a different story, and that is as much on the buyer. However, this is legit asshat behavior and poor business practice, and he shouldn't be rewarded for it just because he does good work. It's as easy as adding a simple sentence or two to his webpage/order form. It's not excusable behavior for a vendor of any sort. Would CigarPass allow that from a member here? Nope.

No argument here, but like everything, caveat emptor. If someone orders from this guy without doing some due diligence, I don't feel sorry for them.

What does irk me is the number of people that order, then go seek out forums to sign up and bitch about this guy without ever doing any other participation.
