Unhappy Thread

This isn't an equal and opposite reaction.
I swear it is exponentially cumulative. Like how decibels increase in power. The equivalent of one person clapping in a stadium is consumed, but a Superbowl touchdown with fireworks comes out.

Kids have been out of school since Monday and I'm guessing they'll be out tomorrow as well.............maybe Friday, who the hell knows. I can usually handle a few days of this, but not this week.

"I'm bored"
"Can we go do something"
"Why won't you let me drive in this snow/ice"
"We have nothing to eat"

Between the dogs wanting to go out every f'ing hour and chew on icicles or playing the game of finding frozen turds, so they can bring them back into the house................and the attention span of a gnat, always stimulated kids, I don't want any part any longer.

Being bored was just part of growing up. If it was a snow day or even summer break, you had to find stuff to do on your own. Hell, we were left at home ALL day, without supervision, while my mom worked. It's one of the reasons I became a Cubs fan. They showed their games on WGN during the summer.

Man this was a bitch today. Snowed until 9 am yesterday and had like 6 inches then switched to sleet and it rained dippin dots until about 7 last night. Hard hard stuff. God bless John Deere.

In case anyone asks the Webber grill marked a spot in the drive.

HT

Can't equal those numbers, but our city has no equipment and our complex has folks that don't know how to shovel. Took four days for me to get out. All of this is ice.
