So they are fakes? Something else relabeled? They are churchills.

Unfortunately the serial shows that along with the other things pointed out about the bands. As far as trying to rehydrate them and smoking them. I would dissect one or two... maybe the ones with the beetle holes and see what they have wrapped up. There are cigars that have had floor sweepings of mice turd, hair, twine and insects. They say what you don't know won't hurt you... however....

I’m with Michael here. You won’t find many cheaper than me or likely to find many more enamored with Cuban cigars so believe me when I say - toss them. Not worth your time or trouble. Fakes bought in Cuba are rarely worth smoking let alone fakes that have not been properly cared for (for years). I would dump them in the trash and move on.

That sucks. I’ve got a collection of fakes that would blow your mind, many that are probably still smokable but certainly not what they pretend to be….and people paid a lot of money for them.

The bottom of the box should have a code like you see here. The TUO tells you what factory they were rolled in, the SEP tells you the month, and the 12 is the year.

When it comes to imitation cigars, I like the approach of...

Sacrifice one cigar and fully cut it open and dissect the contents. Examine them carefully to ensure there are no obvious contaminants.

Some have been known to contain unpleasant surprises.

Once you are sure they are safe to smoke, do so, and enjoy in the spirit of Cuba.

Either way at the end of the day some imposter cigars actually still smoke great even with dubious origins.

If I personally doubt a cigars authenticity I won't use it in passes or trades. But I still smoke them if they are worth a damn.

Plus you look pretty cool using a Behike for a yard gar.

Absolutely fake, and Facebook itself absolutely does not give a single fuck. Your should see the scamming that goes on in the knife groups, which have to be collectively self-policed because Facebook is all too happy to let it continue so they can keep their user numbers pumped up for selling ads.
