Saving dried cubans

I don't know why you won't post the box code on the bottom of the box. But here is what the serial # comes back as. So there is the answer to authenticity.

So they are fakes? Something else relabeled? They are churchills.

Still gonna try to rehydrate and smoke them regardless lol.
Unfortunately the serial shows that along with the other things pointed out about the bands. As far as trying to rehydrate them and smoking them. I would dissect one or two... maybe the ones with the beetle holes and see what they have wrapped up. There are cigars that have had floor sweepings of mice turd, hair, twine and insects. They say what you don't know won't hurt you... however....
I'm sorry this took a bad turn for you.

I’m with Michael here. You won’t find many cheaper than me or likely to find many more enamored with Cuban cigars so believe me when I say - toss them. Not worth your time or trouble. Fakes bought in Cuba are rarely worth smoking let alone fakes that have not been properly cared for (for years). I would dump them in the trash and move on.

That sucks. I’ve got a collection of fakes that would blow your mind, many that are probably still smokable but certainly not what they pretend to be….and people paid a lot of money for them.
