Wicked stick Well My last name is wicklander all the men in my family back about five generations have gone by wick. I am the first not to have accepted it to much.. when I playied football wicklander was just to dam hard to yell, so it transforied from wick to wicked stick. First year I playied defence I was a middle linebacker and I was leader in sacks in my divison. I was a middle and outside linebacker and gaurd on offence after that year. Coach would yell wicked stick on defence. It was my call to blitz, just stuck. Left the name intill I was looking for a name for online.. Nothing super about it but WHAT the HELL !!!!

Well, I spend alot of time surf fishing and while surf fishing I wish that instead of surf fishing I was actually fly fishing.


So, while 95% of the fishing I do is surf fishing, 100% of the fishing I wish I was doing is fly fishing.


Hence the name FlyFish.

I got the root of mine years ago when I first signed on to a BBS system (The Game Room 1200bps! 665-GAME). I signed on with some dumbass name and the sysop (who I went to school with, but I didn't know that at the time) popped in and suggested Gandolf.
HE mis-spelled it, not me, but it stuck. My last name is Wisbey, people have forever called me "Wiz", Wiz was already taken on his system so Gandolf was a natural progression. It was several months later before I found out I knew the guy.

When I signed on to AOL (again, years ago) Gandalf, Gandolf, and Gand0lf were all taken so I threw the month and year I was born on the end of the name I was given before. I have used Gandolf565 ever since.

Mine's easy, it is what I do for a living. Went to EOD (explosive ordnance disposal) school while in the military, and what I did there (bomb squad) is what I do now. Still with the military, but now as a civilian, disposing of the chemical weapons (explosively) that we have in the inventory.
