No. Along with all my sporting loves, I will also put aside all bias for my sporting hates, as well. Besides, I can't hate the Braves anymore, the NL East is ours now.
Edit: Along with the pic, if it isn't obvious what exactly the moment is, maybe a sentence or two explaining it. I'll be adding this line to the post about the contest.
So he broke the record. The banner fell, which gives me goosebumps, and is precisely the greatest sports moment of my life.On September 6, 1995, many baseball fans within and out of the United States tuned in to cable TV network ESPN to watch Ripken surpass Lou Gehrig's 56-year-old record for consecutive games played. The event still ranks as one of the network's most watched baseball games ever. Cal's children, Rachel and Ryan, threw out the ceremonial first balls. When the game became official in the bottom of the fifth inning, the numerical banners that displayed Ripken's streak on the wall of the B&O Warehouse outside the stadium's right field wall changed from 2130 to 2131. Everyone attending (including the opposing Angels and all four umpires) erupted with a standing ovation lasting over 22 minutes, one of the longest standing ovations for any athlete. During the ovation, Cal also did a lap around the entire Camden Yards warning track to shake hands and give high-fives to the fans. ESPN never went to a commercial break during the entire ovation. In the game, Ripken went 2 for 4, hitting a home run and a double in the game. Mike Mussina recorded the win. Ripken's home run was hit to a seat (now marked in the stadium) in his 2130th consecutive game. He had previously hit a home-run in 1993 to the exact same seat to break Ernie Banks' record for most home-runs by a shortstop.[8]
You really should consider getting something bigger. Have you consider a coolidor?? Thanks for the contest!! This will be cool.I have a pair of desktops. One 50 ct from Thompson, which was my first humidor ever. Grew out of that one after a couple years, and picked up a 150 Ct CAO Black Humidor. CI had a special on the 'dor for like $35 if you bought a box of CAO Black. Being that the humidor by itself was at least $100, I figured it was as good a time as any to upgrade. Now, the "good" stcks sit in there, and my regular ones go in the small box.
I'm slowly realizing that even this isn't enough, and a friend of mine that I usually split my buys with just bought another desktop, and that one is going to be used for some of my overflow.

Edgar Martinez hit a game-winning double, scoring Joey Cora, and Ken Griffey Jr. to win the game 6-5, and advance to the ALCS. The moment that "saved baseball in Seattle"!!!
The last few years here have been a different story...
Thanks for the contest bro!!!

Were A-Rod and R. Johnson both playing on that team too?
I've thought about it, but with space at a premium in my small apt, that idea is kind of on the backburner for now. My local B&M just finished renovating the lounge in the back, and they just put in a cabinet with boxes you can rent. So, I'm looking into getting one of those as well, for some extra space that doesn't take up space at my place, and to help support the locals a little more. You really should consider getting something bigger. I'm in Elmont. There's a little shop about 5 minutes from me in Franklin Square called Maxi's. He just completely renovated the back of it, and for a small place, it's beautiful. There's a couple places around. Let me know where you'll be,and we should be able to find something good.I have a locker at my BM and it is the best thing I ever did. I do most my smoking there, so I keep 3-5 of my ffavorites in the locker at a time, while storing the rest in my cooler.
On a side not, where in LI are you, and what BM. My grandparents live out there, and I will be visiting them this summer, and will be looking for a good BM to smoke in.
