Okay, so do dis-similar cigars marry?

You have all attacked my credibility.......I have defended it........I have not been addressed as nicely as I have been expected to do in all cases........Sorry if I offended anyone here........

Bob

I disagree; your character has discredited you.

Yes that is when he made fun of me with with 02 pre released cohiba 6 remark........Did you catch that one too........

Bob, it's your ATTITUDE as a whole since you've been on the board. It's not just this thread. Here's a thread from a while back that Wilkey started. You posted some info in the thread and apparently noone replied to your info in a timely manner so you immediately shot back with:

Guys it is quite interesting to me to see how a new member is total disregarded and not recognized with any response to the information provided.....However when a long time member responded it is met with a community response......The info I provided was acurate but agnored until a veteran member responded with the same info I provided......Interesting

The attitude that you're giving off is one that you should be acknowledged and accepted as an authoritative knowledge on all things relating to Cuban cigars. Who is going to respond kindly to that arrogance? Can you not see this?

I dont find that to be offensive rather.......Im trying to get some interaction......As soon as a vet appreared that was different........Any newbee here can atest to that........

It's the way of any board Bob, regardless who you are. The way you responded when nobody paid attention to you is rather eye opening.

If you're here to stroke your ego, we already have too many LOOK AT ME posters and we don't need another. Sit back and enjoy the board, stop trying so hard to fit in.

Yes, Moki for example.

Lets set the record straight........I am not and never professed to know everything about cuban cigars.
You all have branded me that designation.

Bob

Ok... first off, I'm by no means an expert on pretty much anything! But - I just have to reply to this. Not being on any other boards, I have no idea of any other 'digs' or 'attacks' or whatever, but Cigar Smoke... you come across as being a huge ass. You obvioulsy have knowledge... I won't debate that. Where it comes from, how much... and so on. But your attitude here stinks. He's attacking me... he started it... how old ARE you?? All I have seen is honest and upfront replies from the other members. But yours... piss me off. I would rather have information given to me nicely and honestly - even if it was incorrect - than have correct information given to me while being insulted and looked down upon. And that's the way your posts come across! And don't for a second think I believe you are correct and Devin, Matt and all are incorrect. They are respected members with time in service here. Regardless of your knowledge, respect is earned, never blindly given. They have EARNED my respect... you don't have crap from me yet, and by the looks of it you will not either. But I'm sure that's no loss to you.

Go ahead and say it - I don't know what I'm talking about, I don't know you, the truth hurts, he started it, you know so and so, I have this and that ...

I don't care. With the way you have handled this, I wonder what your low road would be like.

My credibility was questioned from the start..Just read the thread.....As things progressed attitudes appeared including mine.......

Bob

Thanks Bfree.......I realized that this is the way of the boards as I became more involved....or experienced.........I'm sorry that I have come accross rude to all of you. I will keep it in check....Should I not say things, In the future when I see what I feel is an error.....Or would you all just like to see me go.............

Bob

Oh I almost forgot give me your address so I can mail you a hand rolled cello wrapped cigar (one you havent mentioned) See Devin I dont have to name them I can produce them

Bob

Damn, I must be slipping. I have an address..... ;)

As for Mitch, I have tons of respect for his collectible knowledge and I'm pretty sure he will tell you that just because he hasn't seen it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Next time you talk with him, ask him about Mr. Cole. ;)

The problem with new people coming on board and exalting their experience is there is no actual living breathing truth to that experience. Especially when most of it is coming from written text or online information. This is not to say that there isn't experience. Hell, I questioned Mr. Cole's experience until I really met him as I am more than sure he did of me. You see Bob, it is an online community, but many of us here know each other off the boards. Some have hosted other members at the homes, shared drinks and meals, as well cigars, in person. I have seen the vast collections that many members of the online community have in the possession. I have a very good friend who was honored into MRN's home to view his collection. So, while it is an honor to have more knowledge here, it's something that is not always acknowledged when there is not a personal relationship between the scholars ( I use that term very loosley, LOL! )

You have all attacked my credibility.......

Ummmm, did I miss something? I'll ask again..... Who are you? You want blind credibility? Come on, come out of the closet.

Do I appear to be bull shiting here......... I have been accussed of only knowing what was on the internet or in MRNs book.......I have attempted to correct that fallacy....I have gained many important members confidence here.....

Matt again.. Commercialy produced was my point.........I said to you and conceded that they may have been made.....Why is this not clear yet.......It is right in the thread.......This is not beyond the f..up thing I have seen from Cuba....Isnt this what I have said all along...........

Bob,

I'm in NY let me know when you want to meet!

Regards

Anthony

OK, so basically we're hinging on the definition of commercially available.

refers to products, commodities, equipment, material, or services available in existing commercial markets in which sources compete primarily on the basis of established catalog/market prices or for which specific costs/prices established within the industry have been determined to be fair and reasonable. See Commercial Item.

If the item is in a store, it is commercially available. I can assure you that the items we are arguing over were sold in stores via a distributor of Havana cigars at one time or another, not on the black market.
