Cigar Pass Elective - CP212

Hey Rich,
My opinion is that it's more understandable for a CC to be unbanded than a NC. Whether I'm hosting or participating in a pass, I try to make sure the cigars I put in are banded (unless they come from the tabacalera unbanded).

Do those Davidoffs even have bands? I have heard they are mighty good though.
 
Good point, Larry. That reminds me that I had a Davidoff 100th Diademas Finas once and it didn't have a band either. I just checked the internet and every picture I found of Davidoff 100th was unbanded. This being the case, the Davidoff 100th Robusto is all clear!

By the way, the Diademas Finas I had was pretty damned good!

I can say this, they are an awesome smoke. I bought a fiver from a BOTL from CP, which is the one I am thinking of putting in the trade. I also found a B&M in New Orleans that had five. I smoked four of them in a three day span. I granted a wish for one on the PIF, but gave him two since it was not banded. It is one of the best non-maduro smokes I like. I think I will trade it for something in the pass, members behind me will have another hard decision.

Ok I just got home and saw a big box sitting on my door step opened it and everything looks good so far the only thing I saw was #12 wasnt banded
 
Ok fellas, I have the pass in my possesion. Qball was in town today and passed it on to me. I just got in from the police firing range, had to run police firearms qualifications all day. I am leaving here in a few minutes to relax for a little while tonight and smoke a few cigars, so I will post my P/T's tomorrow before I go to work. This will be back on the road again on Monday since my post office is closed on saturdays.

For everyone's benefit...

Khari already knows, but I will not be home starting today until Xmas day. Then I leave again the 30th and return on Jan 4th. Just giving a heads up in case my turn happens while I'm away.

I guess the proper thing to do is send it to the next person on the list. I will try to monitor the website while I'm away, but it is not always possible.

Yep. The Tat for CF was pre-approved. I asked a few members outside of the pass for input before making the decision. I figure there might be a few people who'd like a shot at a Tat Black robusto!

This is a tough time of year to keep things moving indeed. Keep up the good efforts. If it makes it up here there will be no reason to freeze things before putting them in the humidor.....2 degrees F today. :laugh:
