After reading this thread I went down stairs and smoked a new LCL that I got for Xmas and I have to say this was a great smoke! Tons of flavor, cedar leather and spice. I have to say that what ever this blend is it is great!

I could not agree with this statement more. I think that the 9 blend has lost some luster over the past year or so, and the unico series and the lack of availablilty paired with the false rumors that they are just around the corner is annoying. Just a shame as I used to love these smokes.

This is a great thread. Ihave been loving the new LCL and I had no idea that they were actually the regular opus blend.

After all of my research I have come up largely short. Does anyone know if this is a different blend, or is it just a second band put on an Opus?

I think they are very different smokes but very good. The mini has much more spice.

Today I had a room 101 Daruma Mutante. I really likes this stick. It had a blast of cinnamon on the beginning, and is was in the finish throughout.
