    Public apology to Ginseng

What a community! I am glad that I just ordered an Oliva sampler so that I can enjoy a fine Cigar made by some fine folks. Well, at least the wrapper is made by fine folks! :D I hope that one day someone in the Cigar making business has to apologize to me for something.

    Lightweight Smoker

Thanks for the responses so far everyone. I am really aware of the differences between full bodied and full flavored. In fact, that is why I am seeking to learn as much as possible. For whatever reason, my body reacts strongly to the nic in the Cigars and gives me an undesirable feeling...

Tampa trip last week of OCT

Sounds like you are going to enjoy your trip to Tampa. I order a lot of single cigars (free shipping) from TampaHumidor.com. Not sure if they have a physical location or not. Their customer service is pretty good though.

    Lightweight Smoker

Question: This may be an extremely obvious fact of smoking, but can someone confirm this: Does a larger ring size pack a larger punch of strength? For example, will a 54" ring guage cigar provide more nicotine per puff than a 40" ring cigar? It seems obvious that it would, and might be an...

    Flavor without the Buzz?

You're right Grateful1. As soon as I came back to my thread I went to the wrong forum to find it. Thats when I realized my error. Mods (are there any) please move to the appropriate forum. On topic, I smoked a La Gloria Cubana Maduro Wavell today. It was the best smoke that I have tried...

To Freeze or Not to Freeze

Question: When you all get shipments from an online retailer (HOT UPS TRUCK FOR # DAYS TO WEST COAST) do you go through the freeze process or not? I am looking for some general responses here, not necessarily how you go about doing it. Do you personally feel like it affects the taste or...

Are you addicted, or is this just a hobby?

I am a newbie to this hobby, and am wondering if any of you out there feel physically addicted to Cigars like a person becomes addicted to cigarettes. How many Cigars do you smoke per day/week? I currently smoke just 2-3 per week, but am eager to try a lot of different cigars. However, I would...

Tonight I smoked a RYJ 1875 (corona?) and I wanted to get some feedback from experienced smokers on this particular Cigar. I am a newbie to the sport of Cigar Smoking and am wondering if my tastes are not refined enough to enjoy this cigar? The smell prior to lighting was decent, but nothing...
