I haven't seen this posted anywhere here (if I did, forgive my bad eyes), so I thought I'd go through the latest list of what's on the chopping block for 2009.
READ IT CAREFULLY and remember IT'S ONLY A DRAFT, NOT ENTIRELY FINALIZED YET. Only the first section, "New Cigar Deletions," are...
Be careful with glue! I've never used any in my coolerdor, but I'd be very loathe to use anything that smelled strong in my humi. Hopefully it hasn't had time to funk up your cigars.
So did you glue this thing and immediately put it back in your cooler? Or did you leave it for a day or two...
I'm not home to look at my humidor...but my box has a few years on it and is the 20-count cabinet/semi-boite style box (four layers of five cigars divided by cedar sheets) and I think it has a Habanos-style "Edicion Limitada" sticker across the corner of the box......would that be one of the...
I have no idea why they changed the old bands a few years back
The new ones aren't really any harder to counterfeit than the old ones...and the new bands look cheap with their shiny gloss, new ho-hum font, and the new-style weird-looking fleur-de-lis.
Many vendors are displaying pics of the new Padilla Miami with the new bands and boxes.
Some display the old semi-boite nature boxes and old bands...but I'm not sure if they're just lazy about updating their site.
So does anyone know for sure if any online vendors are still selling...
I had one of these a few weeks ago and was really impressed! The Millennium blend is one of the few Davidoffs that might ACTUALLY be worth all the money!
But DAMN, I have never seen tar buildup like THAT! ??? Glad I didn't have that happen with mine.
I noticed this last year when I bought a cab of Magnum 46 with a late 2007 box code. I too preferred that simple brown band. So are no H. Upmann vitolas wearing the brown band anymore?
I also hate the new RyJ Churchill tubos with that colored tube and now wear two bands instead of the old...
Correct. I was referring to Lugar. I don't like either of my Senators in IL now (and I'm sure I probably won't like whoever replaces that moron Burris  ).
It's from this ridiculous online cartoon called Y'All So Stupid. Used to be on a website called superdeluxe.com...now it's a part of Adult swim.
It's a picture of a Mexican "bitter beer"
Here's a link to the cartoon I got it from...

Surprizingly, it seems the only licensed LCDH for Africa is in Nigeria! I'm kind of shocked South Africa doesn't have a franchise (of course, the website might be out of date, so there might be one there).
Here's one that kept coming up in google...
I enjoyed a big bottle of Gouden Carolus Cuvee van de Keizer Blauw (Blue) last night for the Super Bowl! Big, redfruit bouquet and taste, refreshingly sweet balanced with refreshingly bitter hops.
I'm taking a shot at my very first whisk(e)y review, so here goes nuthin'.......
Grant's The Family Reserve
Blended Scotch Whisky
No Age Statement
40% ABV
In addition to a good selection of single malts, I usually keep a bottle of blended whisky around to indulge my guilty pleasure: Scotch...
He says someone verified his source?
Maybe he was trying verify if cubanos.biz was for real or not!!
In that case, if you are a cop, YES CUBANOS.BIZ IS SELLING CUBAN CIGARS YOU NEED TO GET THE MIAMI OFAC OFFICE AND THE FEDS TO ARREST THEM IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!! :sign:
Ditto. I'd love to know where you got that ashtray too!
The cigar band ashtray I made a few years ago was ruined when my storage unit got flooded while I was away on mil training. I'm looking to make another, but thought I'd get a real cigar ashtray this time (not just some WalMart cheapo...
I know many who have experimented with vacuum-sealing whole boxes. Just be gentle and don't crush the box. Fans of it say that, though it slows the aging process and takes longer, it preserves more of the volatile oils and other delicate flavors and makes for more beautiful aging.
