    Today's smoke - 2014

Well I stopped by harbor cigars in Destin, FL today after various people pointed me in that direction. I spoke with the guy working there and talked a bit about my taste and how new I was in the cigar world. He recommended this, It was amazing! Paired it with a local wheat beer and read a...

    KCCO Black Lager

Go for it, I'd consider myself fairly well versed in craft beers. I really enjoyed the complexity of this one. Chive on!

    KCCO Black Lager

These were great! To me this brew was nearly the prefect in between from a real hoppy IPA and a smooth amber. The crisp aftertaste really impressed me as it was very reminiscent shinerbock black but also very smooth like a good irish red or amber, if you guys get the chance I highly recommend...

    Shipping Question ...

Well at least that's one positive remark, now maybe I won't completely regret the impulsive decision. Regardless it's just a desktop humidor and as the collection grows I'll probably end up gifting it.

    Deep Sea Excursion!

Mainly mango snapper and some trigger. This trip was very early in the season and the cobia aren't really running yet. Can't beat mango blackened and grilled though!

It's late afternoon - (What do you enjoy while smoking?)

I will say the pecan thing I can relate to. My family owns about 15 acres of pecan and the smell this time of year is amazing. I'm thinking about brewing a home beer this year over pecan like lazy magnolia brewing.

It's late afternoon - (What do you enjoy while smoking?)

I'm in the process of building the "man cave". I'm going with Sinatra type theme with a nice poker table, can't wait to finish it up!

    Can I Save This Humidor?

I'm impressed with the outcome! Only worry I have is the acetone residue, won't that smell linger for a while?

    Ribs!

Wow! I've got to try that method because those look amazing.

It's late afternoon - (What do you enjoy while smoking?)

It's late afternoon and you're enjoying some time off. A glass of your favorite beverage that's teeth shattering cold and your favorite smoke. Enjoying the beautiful weather in north Florida tonight with some family cooking dinner on the back deck. That's how I'm spending my Saturday afternoon...

    Shipping Question ...

Lol okay then, sounds like I made a typical newbie mistake. Noted! I'll be going to harbor this week sometime and correcting said error :P

    Shipping Question ...

Hey everyone quick question for you, I recently ordered a desktop humidor/sampler deal from Thompson cigar and I'm asking about the reliability. I ordered this last Sunday and the tracking they sent was a DHL number. From the order right now it's in Orlando ... I live in north Florida, this...

    Cooler-dor 101

Yeah that's what I've been noticing from the various post on the subject. Those without a fan I guess people just open and let the air exchange once a week or so. For those of you that have fans what's the driving factor for putting one in?

    Cooler-dor 101

I like this idea, has anyone tried a AC powered fan in one of these? I'm seriously thinking of building one of these then building a nice stained wood exterior. Pretty much turning it into my main humidor for large storage and I don't really want to replace batteries every week.

Awesome! Thanks for the input, I can't find a cooler anywhere with the slots for dividers. Then again I haven't looked online yet, hopefully staring on this project next weekend!
