    Reference on this site

I may have choked it a few too many times and gone blind, but where is the Fuente reference with all the pics. It had opus, anejos and all the regular fuentes.

    Sir winston 02

I smoked one of the 02s I have the other day and it has a taste that I do not like. Medicinal, green that overwhelms the normal flavor. I thought I had a bad one 2 months ago and now the same thing. Is this the year or what is wrong with these. I never tasted this in a cigar before. Thoughts...

Best vintage to suit my taste

I have smoke a good number of the island sticks over the past couple years. I am a much bigger wine collector than cigars, altough I probably have 600 cigars or so. Much like the different vintages of wine, I have found that most of the cigars that I enjoyed either are from 2001 a few from 2004...

    H Upmann

The 2002 Sir Winstons sport a different band than the same cigar with a box code 5 years later. When did they change the bands? Appreciate your answer.

    MU MIKE

Just wanted to give props to MU Mike. Had a brief discussion with him here and found out we live in the same area. He told me anytime I was at the local B&M let them know the first cigar was on him. He happened to be there when I walked in and he was kind enough to hook me up with a little...

    Vegas Cubanas Invictos

Writing hyperbole is not my strong suit, but verbally can chuck it with the best. I did not know I had this cigar and surmised that it arrived in last years secret santa. I knew nothing about this. The burn was perfect, started off to me very creamy and burned a good inch before...

    Padron 64

I was determined to smoke this stick last night, so I went out in the 35 degree weather knocked the hot tub cover off and put on my stocking cap. I settled into the tub and torched the stick. 2 puffs and the lovely flavors of the cigar became apparent. I then dropped the stick into the...

Purchased 1 has anyone tried this yet?

    Avo Le 7

Although they need a bit of age, with a box I thought I would try. Perfect burn and draw. Starts off a bit stronger then the LE5 then the profile really is very close. Could be a bit more complex than the LE5 so very good stick. IF you like the LE 5 which I do, then you will like these for the...

    Partagas 160

I see many on this site don't enjoy the 160 Partagas line, I keep looking for deals on them since they don' t seem to have much of a following. Anyone see them knocked down a bit in price lately? Thanks.

    Padron 64 Pyramid

Tried the Padron 64 Pyramid tonight. Burn was great, started of with a bit more a coffee taste to me on the very first 8th of the cigar, then was a rich smooth blend until about half way then turned more toward the coffee. At one point it smelled like a good italian roast expresso. Very nice...

    La Flor Limitado

Thanks to Moki, I had a chance to smoke one of these gems. Very strong, slow burning and well made. This cigar is not for the mild cigar smoker. The last time I had a cigar that was this strong was some little cigar hand rolled place in Little Havana. Spicy, but not over the top. Just serious...

    LE5 - Limited Edition No. 5

Wow, great cigar. Smooth thoughout with a very complex earthy flavor, for a smooth cigar a nice kick. Almost cuban strong, but like a well made wine very balanced. Don't really realize it is so strong because of the balance until the buzz kicks in. :) Thanks Moki!
