Hey all, I am getting married next week, and I am bringing some cigars for about 8 guys; and myself. I've been smoking for 20+ years, so my palette is a bit more full bodied. However, others are newbies. Should I bring some Candelas? I do not want to waste money on then they throw away an...

Glass tubes - Keep them sealed?

So I have a few The Griffin's "Limited Edition" 2005 in glass tubes.  They've been in the humidor since 2006.  I got them in a trade.  I tried one before, but wasn't crazy about it.  Anyway, I did not open the other two.  Any idea how they would be now?  They are in glass with a cork on the end...

Box of AF Hemmingway Untold Story Circa 2006

Just opened up a box of AF Hemmingway Untold Story Circa 2006.  Never smoked one.  Mostly due to the time it takes to finish the cigar.  It's the same problem I have with the Partagas Salomon.  Amazing cigar, just takes like 3 hours to finish.  Has anyone tried one of these Hemmingway Untold...

    Aged Cigars... Yum Yum Yum

If anyone has the room, I definately recommend aging some boxes of cigars.  In 2006, I put away three boxes of Opus X,Shark 77 Anejo, Tatuaje Corona 2003, a few boxes of Cubans, Padron Serie 1926, Padron Serie 1964 and a whole bunch of Hemmingway styles.  I also found a box of those Gurka...

What will happen to non-Cuban cigars...

So, a little birdie has been telling people in the know that the U.S. will, in time, easing up and then eventually removing the embargo against Cuban products.  When this happens, what will happen to cigars made in other countries now that they would have to compete with Cuba in the U.S.?  I am...

    Spongy cigars?

So I got a few new boxes of CCs in and tried two so far.  Partagas Shorts, Bolivar Petit Corona, Cohiba Magicos Maduro 5, and San Cristobal El Principe.  I've only tried a Partagas Shorts and Bolivar Petit Corona.  To be fair, they were stamped in 2013, so they are pretty new.  The tastes were...

Davidoff Maduro and Nicaraguan Cigars - WTB

Since these are not Cubans, I hope it is okay to ask.  If anyone needs to PM me, that's cool too.  I happen to like the Davidoff Maduro's.  I tried a fiver, so I do like them.  I also would like to pick up some Davidoff Davidoff  Nicaraguan Corona Shorts.  I was in the Madison store the other...

outdoor smoking in the late fall/winter

I am trying to think of ideas / suggestions on how to smoke during the winter.  I was thinking of getting one of those patio heat lamps (natural gas) and place e one of those outside.  Then, like five feet away, I'd be relaxing outside on the patio with a nice cigar to help ease and relax.  ...
