    Pre-2000 vs. post is really a lateral discussion. My initial question was about aging. I have no doubt that a 2005 cigar -- aged properly -- will be fantastic in 7 - 10 years.

    My only beef with them is that their seasonal and holiday cigars never seem to make it to the general public. Other than that, they are the best shop in town. And the 20% off boxes is a good deal when they have them in stock.

    I think they get around the "spending US money" there by having all meals, transportation, tours, hotel, etc. paid to the agency before you get there. The only thing this doesn't cover is tips, alcohol, gifts. They say 85% of their business is US citizens.
