You may want to try the Perdomo remainders. They need about a month of rest when new, but the ones I bought about a month ago are already smoking great and the price is right.

My first was a CAO Brazilia. It left me pretty looped and a little pale, but I've survived to tell the tale and the next Brazilia I smoked was a much more enjoyable experience.

By the time you buy the cooler and A/C adapter you're going to be right at the price for a brand new 12 bottle winecooler. Better yet you may find a used one for half that. The 12v coolers use TE cooling but there's no thermostat, so you'd have to either manually turn it on and off as needed...

They're Old Fashioned's. The 550 is the Mac Hyde Park second. There's more info here on the different seonds and what they are.

There was a similar thread over at CW a short time ago. What Mark says is what ended up helping reduce the swing in RH for that guy. You will need to adjust the temp range to the smallest window that you can, preferably 1* maximum range. I have a 12 bottle TE winecooler with 1/2 lb. of beads...

Whenever I'm in the mood for a mild but tasty stick I usually head for a Macanudo. I picked up some Old Fashioned 550's (Mac. seconds) for cheap from llynncigars.com and they're very good.

Tony, I have the Perfecto and it's always been very accurate. Salt test showed 3% variance, humibeads show within 1%.
