Nice sweet medium to expensive cigar

VSG or Anejo if you can find one. I remember the Partagas Black being kind of sweet too.

Wow I just got my butt kicked

The LFD Chisel is one that definitely made me slow down. Very tasty, but it sneaks up on you--I don't think I'll see out another of those. On the other hand the LFD Serie 2000 Toro is my goto.

    I love Xikar!

I got my Xikar in a Cohiba 3 pack deal as well, a little over two years ago. It's still performing great, cutting 2-3 a week on average. I'd recommend Xikar.

    The Last Cigar

I'd have two set aside just in case one is plugged or otherwise isn't right. But to the choice of one...would have to be an anejo shark for me.

    Traveling

Here's the latest I see on lighters on commercial aircraft: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/sop/index.shtm Still, the checkpoints are staffed by a load of goobers and I wouldn't risk loosing any lighter I care about, so I leave them home and just get a bic onsite.

    Trip Report for Colorado Springs

I buy pleanty from Stags but have brought in sticks purchased elsewhere. I usually buy something, but might not smoke it that day. I think if you're going to use a shop's lounge you should purchase something. I honestly don't know about anything available at the Broadmoor. I used to go...

    Trip Report for Colorado Springs

15C is a pretty nice place, if a bit pricey; but, they allow you to bring your own. Their not stingy when mixing drinks either. I get there once a month or so. If you're visiting Colorado Springs, don't overlook Stags as great B&M with a smoking lounge with a large plasma tv, huge leather...

    Maintaining humidity?

Before I added more cigars, I'd make sure the hygrometer has fresh batteries and is accurate (salt-test it) and that the humidor seals well. Put a small flashlight in there and check for leaks; try tugging a dollar bill through the closed lid all the way around it. If thats all good...

Are Credit Card safe to use with cigar orders?

when sending cash, do you just put it in the envelope, wrap it paper so it doesn't show through, use one of those privacy envelopes? how do you hide that there's cash in there? what about the coins? tape them or let roll loose?

    My first tar gar...

A couple of weeks ago I had my first anejo, the shark #77. After the first couple of puffs, I saw tar oozing from the cut. I cut it off a bit more--was the best cigar I've had. Luckily I didnt get a taste of the tar and was able to really enjoy that one. I enjoy the CX2 also; haven't seen...

    Jerico

No, I used do morse intercept back in the day. I can't copy that fast anymore, especially just jotting it down.

    Jerico

I was able to watch this weeks show online and replayed the morse code enough to figure it out. The last scene before they played the code had a 'marine' stating, "We're here to help." Then the morse code spelled out, "they will need it" So, at least in that instance, the morse is responding...
