    Back after Hiatus

Well, after a long layoff here, I decided to try this forum out again. When I left (quietly), I was not too pleased about the flaming and the owner's, in my opinion, censorship of the forums. Anyhow, that was then, and this is now. This was my first cigar forum, and I wanted to try this place...

    Padron 3000

I tried one of these yesterday and either they were too young or my palate is screwed. I did not like these at all. When I first lit it, it was not a harsh taste, but it definately was not a pleasant one either. I cannot put into words the flavors coming from the cigar, but it had a nasty taste...

    Exhaling

I remember reading an article, in CA I believe, where Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) was being interviewed about cigars and how he smokes them. What I remeber most about his answer was that you cannot truly enjoy a cigar unless you exhale solely through the nose. I have tried to exhale through the...

    Question on Dry Stogies

Just a newsflash, the Connie's I have in the same humidor are just fine. They are not aged as much as I would like, but I had to try one to see if they were bad or not. I just have to remember to keep charging the credo is all. Four kids and wife take too much of me time.

    Question on Dry Stogies

I have a couple of HDM Roths that I let the humi dry out a little too much. The rh was about 60% and the gars were a little crackly. I used the slow re-humi process and after about a month, I have had one each night this week. The first 2 were OK, but last night, the HDM almost was ready to be...

    Nicknames

I started using matalo a long time ago when I used to play online games. RPG's, blood and guts games, you name it, I played it. matalo translates to kill him. I thought it sounded cool, so I used it and use it for most of my on-line usernames.

    The Generosity Exchange

Sorry I have not replied or anything as of late. I had to go out of town for my brother-in-law's funeral as he passed away last Saturday night. My stories about the cigars mainly involved him as when I would go to Houston we would trade cigars and smoke our gifts together. I just got home...
