So I sent a friend a handful of my favorites. The best I sent was an Extra Anejo Basin. I knew he hadn’t had one and somewhat scarce. He returned fire, destroyed my mailbox and included one of these. What do I even fire back with next? I don’t do ISOM and I doubt he does either. I’m sure...
I bring this question as I know there there is alot of experience here and those with big collections.
I found some Padron 5000 Maduros in a shop that had the darkest cellophane that I have ever seen. Thought I had struck gold and bought all that I could. They don’t appear to dry and burned...
So I used to think that all dark wrappers were maduro, and since Padron Maduro was my favorit, every time I visited a B&M, I always said Maduro, and for along time was always disappointed. I stopped comparing to Padron and found a lot of different dark wrapper that are excellent. I now know...

I watched that show. I don’t normally believe in conspiracy theories, but I will admit, there were some point made that made you go hmmm. However, everyday news is making me a not doubt any theory.
I’m about to share my ignorance. I used to think there was really only two choices to pick from. Maduro and non-maduro. So when I went into a B&M and asked, I always just said maduro. I now know that maduro is the fermentation process, not the leaf type. And since padron is Nicaraguan, I...
