Anyone want to help a friend?

A little update! The box landed on Xmas eve :thumbs: . The folks at MI were very happy and took a group photo with cigars in hand and in full battle gear. They are sending the photo to me to post up. Another little tid bit, they were involved in the capture of Saddam and will try and add a photo of him as he was processed through there center. Thanks again to all those who helped out :love: and as soon as I get word I will let you know when the letters and shirts will be on there way.
 
Wow there was no need for the whole T-shirt thing!

I would like to see pics of them smoking our stogies though and a pic of Saddam!
 
I recieved a thank you letter from the Harris' saying thanks to all and the unit is safe and sound back in Wiesbaden Germany as of February 21, 2004. My wife's nephew is a Warrant Officer in the Marines and his unit has been in Iraq now for roughly 2 months. They'll be there for at least 10 more months. He's a weapons specialist and I'm sure it's pretty hot and heavy for them now. In about a month, I'll be sending them a box of ceegars to say thanks for everything they are doing. I have about 30 to 40 sticks put to the side for them already. Hopefully by then, I'll have 50 or so to send the guys. :) :thumbs: :)
 
I received a very nice note as well. Stogieman, would you be willing to take a few more sticks to add to your CARE package? Let us know.
 
I am glad to hear he is back and the cigars were enjoyed some of the guys putting the butts on the line for us. Sure was nice of him to send us all such nice notes.

Charlie if you need some additional cigars let me know where to send em in a PM and I'll gladly send a package down you way.

I will be sending a package out in about a months time frame. The guys are in Pulusia(sp) pretty busy right now. I want to give it some time to calm down over there. I'll let you all know when I will start to box up the ceegars and my addy in my profile is up to date. Like Ricardo said, a few cigars are nothing compared to what they all are doing over there for us.... :) :thumbs: :)
 
Well guys, I'm gettin' ready to send out a combined "Care Package " to the guys next week and have contacted a few of the brothers here already. I received a very nice selection from Maggs44 (Bruce) yesterday, thanks alot brother. I'm sure the troops will enjoy them alot. I'm gonna be sending the individual participants names and addys with the box so the guys can say thanks to you all personally if they want. PM if you want to send some sticks so I know I have em' all in one shipment. :) :thumbs: :)
 
Well, I received a few more boxes from you all to send out. I received a very nice selection of ceegars from Big Slim Junior and then I received two huge boxes from Bobbyson1a. Bobby sent around 150 to 200 ceegars, the Marines are gonna be so greatful. Well, I'm boxen' up the smokes this Wednesday, if I haven't mentioned your name yet and you sent some off, PM so I hold the box till your package makes it here. Again, thanks alot guys and the guys that really care will enjoy them a lot...... :) :thumbs: :)
