"Whiskey on the rocks with a twist" is a pretty standard drink, or you can add demerara syrup & bitters for an Old Fashioned, vermouth for a Manhattan, Grand Marnier for a Sidecar.

While I understand some make a Manhattan with Bourbon instead of my preferred and classic Rye, I'll not have you suggest a Sidecar, perhaps my most beloved classic cocktail, should be made with anything other than cognac.
