I opened a box of Cohiba Esplendido and noticed dust (brown) near the base (Where we cut).

It´s a light brown dust that I could remove just by blowing air...

What is this ? bad signal ?

Regards an thanks you !

If you see little round holes in your cigar wrappers, then you might have beetles. Beetle poop tends to be dark brown to black though.

Take one of the cigars and tap the foot on a piece of paper. If you have beetles more dust should come out.

Thank you all for the fast support !
It´s not dark brown, but light brown and I´t was really like dust... no holes or any other damage to the cigars...

Will take a high quality pic this night and post here.

If you have something like this anywhere in the general area of your cigars your probably not going to want to smoke them. :(

Unless you like Lars Tetens that is...

See my answer to your question over at Cigar Family. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

If it's not beetles, then it's pixies. Smoke one, you will hear the screams

Jon,
Apparently he took care of business over at CF. I don't suspect he'll be back as he's gotten what he needed. Never let it be said that CigarPass doesn't try to be of service.

But I feel so used and dirty!! :( :( :(

:p

Summer seems to be the season for this kind of thing. ???

Take a shower, swish a little Scope, and light up a good one. Doesn't take much to cleanse after such a lightweight transient. ;)

BTW, from the sounds of his latest posts over there, it looks like might have more to worry about than just some bad Espléndidos. He might have a couple of bad boxes in hand.

Roger that! Looks like if he did buy the number of boxes he says, he's been had.
