Cohiba Esplendido with Dust

I opened a box of Cohiba Esplendido and noticed dust (brown) near the base (Where we cut).

It´s a light brown dust that I could remove just by blowing air...

What is this ? bad signal ?

If you see little round holes in your cigar wrappers, then you might have beetles. Beetle poop tends to be dark brown to black though.

Take one of the cigars and tap the foot on a piece of paper. If you have beetles more dust should come out.

Yup. That's a good test for active cigar beetle infestation.

Summer seems to be the season for this kind of thing. ???

Take a shower, swish a little Scope, and light up a good one. Doesn't take much to cleanse after such a lightweight transient.

BTW, from the sounds of his latest posts over there, it looks like might have more to worry about than just some bad Espléndidos. He might have a couple of bad boxes in hand.
