College Football

I was hoping Notre Dame would have ended up losing to Cal (I know, you were, too...). Rather than celebrate on a high note like all is well, they needed to learn the lessons that almost lost them that game several times in the closing minute when it was in their hands and in the bag. Basic fundamentals, like tackling, restraint (targeting? WTF?), covering a fumble instead of trying to run it back (they were ahead with 15 seconds left and Cal had no timeouts -- total glory move, and unnecessary), and knocking down a hail mary in the end zone instead of five players trying to intercept the ball; that one damn near cost them the game).

That game was a shit show. How did this team hang in there against Ohio State?
