This weekend diesel was $4/liter and gasoline $7/liter. Most of Havana was without water 8 days, due to the power outage. Communist party headquarters in Moron, Ciego de Avila was set on fire on Saturday. I think much of that is going to continue. Lights out, no water, chug a bottle of rum with your buddies...ah lets set a building on fire.

My heart goes out to the people in Cuba going through everything, hopefully the country can come out the other side stronger.

It's a shame that the people of Cuba, and the country of Cuba, with the incredible Heritage that it has, had to live under the tyranny of communism and end up like this.

Let's hope the people get to experience democracy before they die. Cuba would be such a cool place to visit if they could maintain their heritage/culture and get out from under tyranny.
