Cutters.

I have been very happy with the Cuban Crafters stainless cutter I purchased a few years ago. Mine is the standard one that cuts up to a 54 ring gauge (needs to be cleaned a bit). They make a larger one that is similar, but cuts up to an 80 ring gauge.

Many years ago one of the brothers on this board got bored and took apart his Xikar cutter. He could not put it back together again... The amazing part of this story - Xikar took it back and sent him a brand new cutter. Their lifetime warranty means just that - lifetime with no questions asked...

Not sure if they're still of the same mind (I've not needed to send my cutters in) but I've never seen customer service like that. And I have quite a collection of Xikar cutters I've accumulated over the years - none have ever given me any issues. This is my personal favorite my grown children gave me a number of Christmas' ago.

Was taking pictures of similar items and thought I’d receive this zombie thread. All my cutters in one pic. A couple promos, a Montecristo cutter (maroon) and key punch, the wooden punch was my first ever cigar accessory from 1993, a Xikar Xi3 and V2, an Aging Room scissor cutter and a Les Fines Lames Le Petit. The Xi3 and Les Fines Lames get the most work. The cheap promos get the travel duty. The punches get used on small cigars.
Watcha got?

OK, here we go - what's in my cigar tool box - L to R:

  • Colibri V-Cutter. Very well made, sharp as heck, really takes a 'bite' out of the end of the stick. Not bad at all, just.....serious...... 🤣
  • Xikar V-Cutter. Current fave; works great on almost everything, surprisingly well on small ring gauge smokes.
  • Up top - PerfectDraw cigar poker. Vital tool, works wonderfully when needed.
  • Xikar punch. It's sharp, it works fine......basic solid punch.
  • Victorinox cigar knife. Great punches (3 sizes), nice sharp blade, and the sharpest little scissors you have ever seen. Really cool for slipping under a label and snipping it off.
  • OG Palio. The original. Solid as can be, works flawlessly.
  • OG Xikar. The original. Solid as can be, works flawlessly.
With this team on deck, I've never felt the need for additional cigar tools.

Every time I hit flea markets/antique shops with the Warden I am on the lookout for the Swiss Army cigar knife at non-eBay prices.

Cheap Tat cutter
Palio cutter
Perfec-Draw
Victorinox knife

I’ve had the Palio and the Victorinox for about 15 to 20 years now I guess.
