Ok, quick review of one of the $1.00 cigars. It was a robusto, nice looking smooth wrapper. Bitter taste at first, choked down the first 1/3 and almost threw it away, second third of the cigar smoothed out not as bitter and was actually fairly palatable. Nice burn, nice ash, Thin smoke throughout however, mild/med.

Overall rating....6.0 (scale of 10) because of the middle third, the appearance and the burn.

Sorry looks like the pic of me with the bitter look was shrunk twice, I'll see if I can redo this later.

OK so I changed my mind.

Delta Pack/Cigar #2

Robusto
Shade wrapper

This cigar was very mild, ALMOST flavorless but not a bad cigar.
Clipped pre-draw was very open with a little hint of flavor.

The ash held for about an inch but was very solid when it came off.
What flavor it had was pretty straighforward tobacco. This cigar did smoke very well.
It didnt get hot, mushy or bitter at all. With about 2" to go it did pick
up a little grassy amonia taste but that was the worst thing i can say about it.

All in all I'd say it was either a mild run of the mill $5 cigar or a very well made $1 cigar. If its a $1 smoke its not bad, just a little mild and bland for my tastes but I'd smoke another one, maybe in the morning :thumbs:


Oh and the coffee was great as always

I smoked the #4 out of my beta bag(sack). It was a very smooth torpedo. It had A lot of flavor. If this is a $1.00 I want a box of these. It was extremely well constructed and it burned even all the way down. It drew like a dream. Awesome smoke! Thanks for the pass. I hope some of you guys get this cigar in your bag.

Haven't had enough downtime to even consider smoking ANY cigar. I think i'll light up one tonight though!
