Went with my father-in-law/boss to his PCP yesterday, who told him he needed to go to the emergency room and be admitted for his heart rate being over 150 and serious bleeding from a UTI. Spent 3 hours waiting in the ER waiting room with him to be seen, and then I had to leave due to COVID restrictions. Got a text from him at 11 p.m. saying they were going to admit him for the night for more tests and observation. Gotta head to the office and call all his appointments for the rest of the week and put them off until next week. So exhausted this morning....need coffee....zzzzzz

Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Thursday which means we'll be at Hudson Valley Cigars this evening. The Yankees came up a little short again last night and have their backs against the wall. They'll need to win tonight in order to play game 5 and see who advances to the next round. Enjoy all and we hope to see a few of the local S/BOTL tonight....... 👍
 
Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on since 0420 as always and it's Friday! We had a good time at Schlesinger's last night, the usual crowd was there plus more as the cooler temperatures are approaching. Congrats to the Yankees on the win last night forcing a game 5 this evening. Lets go fellas, you got this! Also this weekend, Army football takes on the Citadel tomorrow here at West Point and the NASCAR drivers are in Charlotte, NC racing on the Roval. Enjoy all and be safe out there...... :)
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Tuesday. Army won over the Citadel 13 - 9 on Saturday; our sponsored West Point Cadet and his girl friend as well as his mom and dad spent the day at our home on Sunday; and it rained all day yesterday. The rain will continue throughout today and we'll sunny days Wednesday & Thursday to dry things up a bit:

Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's already "Hump Day". I'm gonna do some yard work today as well as cut the grass (hopefully it's the last time of the season). We're having a gazebo delivered for the backyard that's been custom built by the Amish in PA. Ordered it 2 months ago and we know that it'll look great out back:

That's gorgeous! My family lived in Amish Country for a few years, and their building ability, workmanship, and attention to detail is beyond amazing. You'll get MANY amazing years out of that!

Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's Friday! I have a short day in the office this morning as they are delivering the gazebo today between 1100 and 1400 (11 am and 2 pm). We had a great time at Schlesinger's last night as we got to see a few of our ole' friends that have been away for a while. Sports wise this weekend, the MLB playoffs continue, the NASCAR drivers are in Kansas and Sunday we'll have NFL all day starting at 1300 (1 pm). I hope you all get to enjoy this weekend and relax as well....... :)
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday already. We had a great weekend overall, the rain on Friday delayed the delivery of the gazebo until Saturday morning. We had a super time Saturday afternoon / evening with friends over from work enjoying German and Hungarian foods, drinks and cigars. Yesterday was a relaxing day out back smoking cigars and all. Congrats to Joey Logano on taking the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race and being one of the final four in the championship race which is in 3 weeks. The Eagles almost came back to win yesterdays match up against the Ravens losing 30 - 28. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys...... 🍻 thumbnail_IMG_5381.jpg

Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 as always and it's already "Hump Day". I got half the yard work done yesterday as I cut/miter sawed all the base board finish cuts done on the gazebo. All I have to do is pre-drill them this evening and set them in place. I used a PVC trim board from Lowe's versus wood for a longer lasting and rot free finish:

Good morning everyone, the coffee is on as always and it's Thursday which means we'll be at Schlesinger's Hudson Valley Cigars this evening. I got the base of the gazebo all buttoned up and sealed from the elements and especially from the local varmints, i.e., ground hogs, skunks, etc. The gazebo sits on a foot of packed gravel but I didn't want anything to nest under it for the winter season. This evening, the Eagles take on the Giants which should be a good one. Anyway, hope to see some of the local S/BOTL and enjoy....... 👍

Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's back to work Monday already. Congrats to the Army football team on their win Saturday with a final score of 49 - 3. They have a bye week this coming Saturday and in two weeks we'll be hosting the Army vs. Air Force game with an 1130 (11:30 am) kickoff. Yesterday NASCAR race got rescheduled for this morning as a result of rain, the checkered flag will be flown at 1000 (10 am) on NBCSN. Have a great week everyone and enjoy........ :)
