Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on and it's finally Friday. We had a good time last night at Schlesinger's smoking primo sticks and catching up on the world's news. The NASCAR racers are down at Daytona this weekend and as stated yesterday, the Yankees are in Boston this weekend taking on the Red Sox. Good morning all, the coffee has been on for a while and it's back to West Point for another busy work week. It was good to see the Yankees win again last night in Boston and take 3 out of 4 games this weekend. We have a busy day at West Point today as we have the Garrison Commander's Change of Command as well as the Garrison Command Sergeant Major's Change of Responsibility. Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on since 0430 as always. I see that the National League skunked the American League last night in the MLB All-Star game. I only watched a couple of innings of it and that was enough for me. On another note, we are 30 days from our annual Wounded Warrior event - Quad State Herf 7. If you haven't sent in your payment as of yet, please do so. It will be one less thing to take care of as we get closer to the 11th of August. It was good to see the Yankees win last night in Bombers fashion with a grand slam by Raul Ibanez in the 8th inning. Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Well, the Yankees acquired Ichiro Suzuki and went ahead and won 4 - 1 over the Mariners (his old team). The fans gave him a standing ovation and approved of the trade and gave him a traditional Japanese farewell. These two teams play again this evening and hopefully they can repeat last night's win. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's "Hump Day". Well, the Yankees lost last night and what's worst is that A-Rod is out with a shattered wrist after being hit by a wild pitch. Not sure how long but it's not good. Well tonight, we'll have Ian's (thefayguy) bachelor party at Hudson Valley Cigars / Schlesinger's Steak House and Cigar Bar which should be a great time. I'm going to head down to Plum Point on the Hudson River in a bit and see if the fellas are down there smoking cigars and enjoying their Sunday morning coffees. I see that the Yankees came up short yesterday, hopefully they'll win today as it's the rubber game of the series with Boston. Congrats goes out to Brad Keselowski for winning the inaugural Nationwide race at yesterday NASCAR race at the Brickyard. Today, the Sprint Cup racers will be out there starting at 1200 and hopefully Dale Jr. in the #88 Amp / National Guard Chevrolet does well.
