Good morning to all and from this half of the world, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I would like to say that I am very thankful for my family, friends and comrades that have supported me through my 1st, 2nd and now 3rd tour overseas. I have a great support group and wish that I could be there to enjoy the fellowship and festivites of one of our Nations greatest holidays. I'm also thankful for being a part of, and serving, the Greatest and Strongest Nation on this Earth.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Well, yesterday was a big hit as we watched some good football, ate like kings and enjoyed each others company. I know a lot of you go out on Black Friday to start your holiday shopping but becarefule as there are a lot of crazy drivers out there. Have a relaxing weekend and enjoy....... :)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. Yesterday was full of college football on the TV and looks to be the same today except that it will be the NFL. I'll be watching the Eagles game at 1600(4pm) to see if Michael Vick continues to be as strong as he's been for the past few weeks. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys it as well........ :)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is definitely on. Well, it's back to work after being off for 5 days relaxing and eating well. We are definitely in the holiday season and it's time to start my Christmas shopping now. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys a few favorites through out it....... :)

Good morning all and yes, the Killer Beans coffee is kickin'. Not to much going on this week except that we're going to be getting rain for the next couple of days and quite a bit of it:

Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on for a while now. There's not much going on today except that it's "Hump Day". I hope everyone has a good one and gets to enjoy a favorite or two or...... :D

Good morning all and yes, a new pot of coffee is on as always. Well, according to NOAA, the rain is gone for a while:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 38. West wind around 9 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 25. Northwest wind around 5 mph.

I don't mind the cooler temps as you can always dress for it and it is December and all. Being Thursday, we'll be heading over to Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars this evening to enjoy a couple of primo sticks and catch up on the stories from last night's Big Smoke. I hope everyone has a good one and enjoys it as well....... :)

Good morning all and yes, the Killer Beans coffee has been on now for a good hour. It was good to see that the Eagles won last night with a come back in the 4th quarter. I watched the 1st quarter at Schlesinger's and just watched the video clips on-line and I'll tell you, Michael Vick is one of the best QB out there right now. It was good to see the fellas last night and hear all the news from Big Smoke. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend, gets some holiday shopping done and enjoys a couple of your favorites through out it....... :)

Good morning all and yes, the Killer Beans Electric Chair™ Espresso coffee is doing the trick. Plannin' on getting some holiday shopping done today as well as picking out the Christmas tree for the house. I hope everyone has a good one and enjoys it as well....... :)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on for a while now. Definitely a wintery Sunday today with flurries predicted and temps reaching 32 degrees as the high. We have a number of NFL games on the TV today and then tomorrow evening it's the Jets versus the Patriots. I'm rooting for the Jets as that is Beth's team plus I have a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to New England. I hope everyone has a good one and enjoys...... :)

Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin'. Well, Army / Navy week is upon us and it should be a good one. There are numerous activities all week here at West Point to include the annual Goat / Engineer game, Spirit Luncheon, Pep Rally - Bon Fire, ect. The highlight of the week will be the big game of the week next Saturday down in Philadelphia, PA. I have the prestigious honor of escorting the Honorary Captains (3 Army Medal of Honor recipients) to mid-field for the coin toss as well as all that entails. This year's 3 Army Honorary Captains are COL Jack Jacobs, COL Paul Bucha and the newest recipient, SSG Salvatore Giunta. You can read more about the actual award and how each of them received it here:

I hope everyone has a great week and gets to enjoy a few of your favorites throughout it. Go Army, Beat Navy........

Navy winning is a foregone conclusion, Charlie. Custer had a better chance. The only thing in dispute is, who has a prettier mascot.

Go Navy. Beat Army. Full Speed Ahead.

Oh, BTW, when is the last time Army went to a bowl game, Charlie?;)

Doc.

Don't be mean to him Doc, without Army being there you can't count on at least one "W" :p

Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on for a good hour now. Hank, that goat of yours could probably us a haircut and bath while you're at it. Now here's a beautiful animal:

Well, I just checked the weather forecast for this Saturday down in Philly and they are calling for 44 and sunny. A great day to be a soldier and kick some Navy butt I say. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys...... :)

Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin' as always. Today they will play the Goat - Engineer game which is a build up to this weekend's Army / Navy Classic. Here is a little info about today's game:

Goat-Engineer game: As part of the run-up to the Navy football game, the Corps of Cadets plays the Goat-Engineer game. First played in 1907, it is a game between the "Goats" (the bottom half of the senior (Firstie) class academically), and the "Engineers" (the top half). The game is played with full pads and helmets using eight-man football rules. The location has changed over the years, with recent venues being Shea Stadium, Michie Stadium, and Daly Field. Legend states that Army will beat Navy if the goats win, and the opposite if the engineers win. In recent years, female cadets have begun playing a flag football contest, so there are now two Goat-Engineer games, played back to back the same night.

Tomorrow, we have the Spirit Luncheon at Ike Hall which is a huge pep rally and then tomorrow evening is the bon-fire / send off of the team. I hope everyone has a great day as well and enjoys a favorite cigar or two....... :)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. The Spirit Luncheon and bon-fire is scheduled today as part of the annual build up to the Army / Navy game. Being that it's Thursday, I'm plannin' on stoppin' by Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars this evening to enjoy a primo stogie and take in a few laughs. Beth and I will be hittin' the road in the morning in the direction of Philadelphia to enjoy this weekend's festivities. I hope everyone has a good one and enjoys it as well........ :)

Good morning all and yes, the Killer Beans Electric Chair™ Espresso coffee is kickin'. We had a good time last night at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson Valley Cigars enjoying primo sticks and catching up on the world news that I missed. We'll be heading out in a bit to Philadelphia to enjoy this weekend's Army / Navy festivities. I've kept my eye on the weather forecast all week and according to NOAA, they are still calling for 44 degrees and mostly sunny at game time:

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend and Go Army.........

Good morning all, we're back from Philly and the coffee is on as always. Well, it was an excellent weekend in Philadelphia as always. It was an experience of a life time being with 6 Medal of Honor recipients at the same time on and off the field. Got to meet a number of dignitaries, i.e., Commandant of the Marine Corps, Joint Chief of Staff (ADM Mullins), ect. Congrats to the Navy for winning the game and hopefully next year we get that long earned win. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys...... :)
