Happy Thread

Last full day of vacation with the family.

I plan to drink today to make up for yeaterday. 12 hours in the pool, playing volleyball, and diving contests, for three days whooped my butt!

Leave tomorrow for a three day outing.
Plan a vacation from a vacation. I like this.

Yeah, leaving one vacation to go to another one is a pretty good feeling.
Cap it at two in a month, though. Recent experience shows that the stress of travel begins to tilt the "risk / reward" scale the wrong way after a wee bit. And this is from someone who does not stress easily.

Then again, I have been traveling with one or both of my anxiety-ridden females in the household...

I get that Nick but with me having to take care of just me, it's not too stressful.😁

Bought and installed the first piece of the puzzle for being able to run my house on a portable generator.
My 5-ton condenser was pulling ~110 amps at start-up.
Not sure what it is now because I got too hot to care before I turned the disconnect back on.

HAPPY to be home!

I left on July 28th to go on vacation with my entire family, three kids, six grandkids. We rented a big house for a week on a cool island in Lake Erie drinking and hanging out in the pool. My son and I left there Thursday to go to a 3-day golf outing and we both arrived totally exhausted from six days of drinking and activities in the pool.

I was totally spent yesterday and didn't have the energy to swing the club for the last round. I managed to win enough money to pay for the weekend and am soooooo happy to be near my recliner!
