Hi All,

Another new guy here. Been lurking for a few days checking things out and have been enjoying what I have been reading. Seems to be a lot of good people on this board, and I look forward to hanging around a while. I'll be listening and learning more than posting I'm sure. Just wanted to say hello!

StogieMan, I envy you. I absolutely love central Forida. In about six weeks I'll really envy you even more as the temp starts to drop here up north. I'm not from Long Island, I'm from Staten Island home of the famous ferry, and the world's largest landfill ;). Became an Islanders fan as they were an expansion team as I was becoming a hockey fan as a kid. Then they started winning Cups...man that was a long time ago!

I hope Ivan stays the heck away from Florida and gives you guys a break.

Atleast you guys will probably have a new NASCAR track in a couple of years. We all might have to have an anaugral (sp) NASCAR Herf the first year the Nextel boys race there...... :D :thumbs: :p

It definitelylooks now that Ivan is gonna miss us and hit the Panhandle this time. :)
 
Welcome to CP....Islanders....only real hockey team were the Hartford Whalers...:)

But now I must support my local team the Lightning, since Hartford long moved to Charlotte.
