It won't happen! The odds are too stacked! This would be three-in-a-row, right?

I say we draw on Friday to give everyone time to see this. We can use the same lottery as for the other one.

Any questions or comments?
When you say "the same lottery", which one is that. The SC lottery?

Soooooooooooo I guess we are going with Friday?? ???

fri. is good.

as a side rule amendment (notjust b/c of Shadow, but in gen.) should ther be some rule of winning more than 3 in a row?
or, if you win 3, you cannot win for 2-3 weeks?

No one asked my opinion and this is not my game so I will more than happy go along with the majority,

But,

Implementing, in my opinion, crazy rules would take the fun out of it. Let's say that Shadow won again this time. Third one in a row. We then impose a "you can't win for 3-weeks" rule on him. But, he still has to play and send out sticks to the winner without any chance of winning himself? How long do you think that would last?

IMO there are big, fine, fancy hotels along the Vegas Strip. Every machine and table in the place takes all comers. The states are making plenty of money on their lotteries. The states and Las Vegas could not do this if the "law of averages" worked against them. The players have the disadvantage. Shadow has the disadvantage.

Shadow had a 1/10 chance of winning the first. A 1/100 chance of winning two in a row. He has a 1/1000 chance of taking his third this week. Those aren't very good odds. (is my math right?)

And if he wins again? I say congratulations. Send him better sticks than you did the last two times.

d@mn math stats!

i withdraw my rule sugg., but if Shadow wins two in a row here, I haver a nice aged ('95) box of this brand called "Swisher"

Don't worry guy's!! He's old and can't keep it up for much longer! :sign:

actually, the chances are 1/10 each time...no matter how many in a row anyone wins.

I agree. Each drawing has a 1/10 chance but you must consider the odds in being that "1" in the ten 2 or 3 times in a row.

As the resident Math Teacher let's look at the stats thing.

Each drawing has a 1 in 10 chance, so Horse is correct.

Winning two drawings in a row is 1/10 times 1/10 or 1 in a 100, so SD is correct.

Congratulations, you both get an A!

You're all worried about nothing. I'm taking this one home! -Number 2

What time is the lottey that we are playing. There appears to be two: a midday and and evening drawing.

bah-psssshhhh!

you think #1 is just for show? :p

guys, I started a thread of likes/dislikes so we have a better idea of what to send. in case I do not win ( :( ) I wuld then know what to send out.

Let's assume the late one as that has been the norm. Sorry for adding confusion.
