Ok, so summer is here and Hotlanta is living up to its name, so seem like a good reason for a contest.

I am giving away five five packs, and will ship on Monday, June 29th so the winners have some nice smokes for the 4th of July. Cigars may include Commacho Liberty '08, DP My Father, Illusione HL, and other selections in my stock. The minimum value of a fiver will be $35 MSRP or higher.

Here are the rules:

Over the next five days, starting Wednesay June 24 through and including Sunday, June 28, any member of Cigarpass who correctly posts the high temperature plus the heat index(what the temperature feels like with humidity) for the day wins a five pack. The winner will receive a five pack of permium cigars for each correct post.

1. Only one post per Cigarpass member. Posters must reside in the US (sorry for those outside the US, but shipping costs require I keep this stateside).Please post in the following manner for ease of scoring.

6/24 91 degrees, heat index 100
6/25 62 degrees, heatindex 68
and so on

2. Please post your guesses in a single post (together). If you only choose to guess one date or two dates, that is fine, but I would like to keep everyone's posts grouped for ease of reference.

3. A participant can win more than one time (i.e, 6/24 and 6/28, winning 10 cigars). If you do not have your address in your profile, please PM me you address when you are named a winner.

4. The winning post is either the correct temperture plus heat index, or the closest to the correct temperature. The winning posts are the correct temperatures (or closest) first, and then the heat index as stated on the 10:00 PM Fox Five news broadcast for the date. Closest includes over and under for temperature, with the heat index.

If there is a tie (meaning both are correct on temperature or equally close, and correct on heat index, or each is equally off the heat index) the earlier post wins.


5. For scoring, the temperaure counts first, heat index second. If the termparture is incorrect but the heat index is correct, and another post guesses the temperature, the temparature posts wins.

6. If two players guess the same temperature and heat index, the earlier post wins.

7. All participants must post their lottery numbers by midnight, June 23, 2009.

8. Should there be any discrepancy, I will select the winner. My method will likely be issuing a trivia question to the person these rules do not clearly address as a winner

Hey Bruce,

Ima trying, but house still has not sold, and no one out there wants to hire me yet, so we are riding out the summer. Have not had a really hot summer here in a while, so we are due. I think its going to be one of those summers where you sit in ATL traffic and watch the haze of the heat create the illusion that traffic is actually moving.

My wife is losing her patience in the heat too.

Out of curiosity, If two posters have the same temperature does the decision go to who is closer to heat index or the first poster??
 
Heat index.
