First is a new avalanche transponder (aka "beacon" ), shovel, and probe. Either to find my friends and dig them out or vice versa if buried by an avalanche.

Second are Verts, basically climbing specific snowshoes. I bought them with both binding options. One to go on regular boots when I'm pow surfing, other connects to my splitboard bindings for when you're going up stuff that is too steep to skin.

You sir are more manly than I. I have a 4x4 that has 22” wheels that can’t get out of loose gravel in a mall parking lot. I would probably use that beacon if stuck in a snow storm while taking the trash cans to the street.

Impressed though,

After you've impressed all the 15-year-olds at the mall, join the adults and go with less wheel/more tire, as opposed to more wheel/rubber band. :p You actually get to shift your transfer case occasionally! 😂

(I kid. I kid. However, I'll admit that although it got a workout earlier in its life, I haven't engaged the front wheels -- aside from semi-monthly transfer case exercise jaunts -- since probably 2014 right after I got to Hawaii.)
