I have a couple CrossBreed holsters for different pistols. They are nice, though the only brand I've used; so I can't really say how they compare to others. I mostly wear it when I'm up at our cabin and sitting out at night with a cigar.

I just recently picked up a very nice multi-fuel genny due in large part to a VERY generous employee discount at Bass Pro (the wifey worked there for a time). Had my friend hook me up with a transfer switch and outside plug - now I feel all fancy and stuff. But almost guaranteed after going through all of that trouble - we won't lose power...

If only that was all it took to not lose power again! It isn't that easy unfortunately; you'll still loose power again at some point. I bought a Kohler whole house generator back in 2023 and it took about two years, but we lost power twice this year for about 5 to 7 hours each time.

After our first hurricane season, I bought a generator. We went 2years without losing power, but then Debby, Helene, and Milton stopped by last year! Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it!

eta: we get the pleasure of going 5-7 DAYS without power! 😁
