OPFTH (Cigars for the Troops)

I’ll be sending the next shipment out on Wednesday the 31st. Anyone in the DFW area who would like to include something will need to drop it off at Tobacco Road this weekend. Anything, that doesn’t make it into this shipment, will be going with the next mid month shipment.

LoL, thanks a ton OPFTH! I assure you that no stick goes unsmoked out here!

You're just in time too, my yearly evaluation is on the boss's desk, I'll have to slide a few sticks into the folder, lol.

Again, the 589th Baghdad BOTLs can't thank you enough. Your unwaivering support is overwhelming. We're damn proud to fight for citizens like yourselves and the rest of the BOTLs of CP.

....and don't worry about me getting help to carry the goods, all of a sudden I have very many volunteers :D

Well, the eagle landed today!

The 589th Baghdad BOTLs got floored by a 36 pound box! It was full over tons of goodies from soap, handy wipes, gum, candy, books, and more.

Oh yeah and ton o' sticks!!!

Thanks a ton to OPFTH, Smitty and Preembargo especially, for the work you do for us out here and tons of other Soldiers deployed around the globe.

The huge box emptied in about an hour and I think we all enjoyed some of the sticks out of it at our weekly poker night tonight.

We were especially touched by the notes inside.

Without going too much into the weeds, the notes were from a father and his 8 year old daughter.

He had stated that all the cigars were from him, and all the goodies were purchased with money made entirely from a lemonade stand she ran. It was really touching and motivating. Thanks so much for the package.

It was really special, that box could've been empty except for those two letters and it still would have made my day. Thank you so much. God bless.

Got our 2 in over the last two days Smitty!!! Outstanding!! Looks like some boys over on eHerf got in on this one. Very nice selection of smokes.
