Overabundance of singles

It's really out of control. I have probably three to four hundred random singles, including cigars where I only have maybe 3-4 of them left. They're in the cabinet's singles drawer, they're in ziplock bags, they're in 3 and 5 finger bags, they're in single bags (like the ones from passes) and alot of them are mixed together in boxes. They're quite possibly the most inefficient use of a humidor space and they're driving me nuts. Alot were picked up in passes or trades, or through box splits as fivers.

Anyone have any tips on dealing with these wastes of space?

The only thing I can really think of is to smoke 'em, but at the rate I smoke cigars vs. the rate I keep buying cigars that doesn't solve my problem.
 
You could sell em as samplers. I'd probably get one off you depending on the brands.

I thought about that, but the problem is alot of them are old, the cellophane is discolored and all yellow, and alot of them are not even rolled anymore, so they probably weren't that good to begin with, right? :whistling:

Give 'em away as Christmas presents! I am sure someone out there would enjoy them.
 
Well, I'm sure there's some folks here who would like to help.... organize them.... store them.... mebbe.... I'm sure you can find at least a couple of volunteers....
 
Send them to the troops. Pick around 100 of them to start with, calculate how much money you have tied up into them and then maybe have the community contribute to the cause. I'll be the first to contribute.

One more thing - those Cohibas GR are taking to much space in your humi. I can store them for you to give you more space. LOL
 
Yeah send them to me to get rid of everyone knows once the cellophane turns yellow they are trash lol
 
I will trade you 1 pound of coffee/espresso for 1 pound of cigars, fair?

I know what you mean. I've been tossing all of my singles into baggies in the cooler. I try to keep the cabinet stocked with only boxes of cigars. I just spent several hours a few weeks ago cleaning out the cabinet and sorting through all of the singles in there.
 
Are you looking to unload these? I like the idea of sending them to the troops if they are really bothering you.

I have a small humi where I keep my end of box smokes, but I consider them my treasured smokes.
