Was too cloudy to get the moon the other night, but this one turned out ok.

The following are all the same denominations coin, the $1 silver eagle. There are two different coins here, but unique because of their grade. The difference is in their strike and pre-strike processing...yes these are real legal tender, but that would be foolish since they are made of .999 fine silver. Trying not to bore you, coins are graded from AG3 ( almost good 3 ) is the lowest and goes to a 70, with different finishes being added to the coin identifier. Without inflicting further pain, see what you think, adding that these photo are not tweaked in any manner.

I'll take them for a buck a piece.

We even had 1/10th cent coins called Tax Tokens. I've found a couple over the years with my metal detector.

Darin, trying to expand on your tax token, I am attaching some additional information. The important point is these we not issued by the US MINT, but rather by the respective States. Your find is interesting and there are many more obscure instances of " currency " out there. Keep going with the metal detector.

And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.”

These are all from Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. The last one is from a young man who attended the high school where I coached volleyball for several years. I didn't know him, but I've heard good things about him.
