The M5 is a luxury car with a significant dose of "haul ass". It's a big car, no mistake about it, but when it comes to balance, speed, class, etc....the "M" cars get my vote every time. As KB mentioned, the M3's are very quick. You can probably find something that will outperform these BeeEmm's in any one or two paramaters, but when you look at the overall package, I don't think you can beat 'em. On a far less grand scale, we bought a new X3 3.0 with the sport package for my wife early this year, and it's been fantastic.Matt R said:The M5 is FAST, make no bones about it. It's just a bigger frame. The M3 may be a bit quicker in the turns, but I'd take the M5 any day.
