Post a picture of your favorite sports car

...I suppose it's not considered a "sports car" but with a 500+ HP V10, this monster would float my boat, no worries:

I'd thought a M5 would be a race car? I've got a friend who had an M3, and that sucka flew. Another friend of mine (the first guy's cousin) got an 05 M3 and that thing is just wrong... too fast

He said "leather romper suit"

Nice bike! I would get way to many speeding tickets on that thing.

The M5 is FAST, make no bones about it. It's just a bigger frame. The M3 may be a bit quicker in the turns, but I'd take the M5 any day.

not in the 100k $ range but....

Another for the WRX, the wife and I are actually considering getting a non-STI edition of the WRX.

First I need to teach her how to drive my manual SUV. :( The lessons haven't been going well. She gets nervous starting at uphills; usually stalls and then panics so I have to get in the driver's seat and take over.

I don't get why people always compare bikes vs. cars. Sure a bike will get you off the line but when it comes to cornering, the car always has more rubber to hold on to. Plush they should have atleast put it against a bike with a better power to weight ratio like that car. May'be a R1 or GSX1k

I love way to many cars to choose one, but in the next week or so I'm buying a 1994 Eagle Talon Tsi (FWD :( ) And by this time next year I'll be laying ~350hp to the wheels. I'd be afraid of tickets, but the guy who owns it now can already outrun the cops and teh car's only getting faster :whistling:

*disclaimer...No, I wouldn;t actually outrun the police. I don't wanna marry bubba.

The M5 is a luxury car with a significant dose of "haul ass". It's a big car, no mistake about it, but when it comes to balance, speed, class, etc....the "M" cars get my vote every time. As KB mentioned, the M3's are very quick. You can probably find something that will outperform these BeeEmm's in any one or two paramaters, but when you look at the overall package, I don't think you can beat 'em. On a far less grand scale, we bought a new X3 3.0 with the sport package for my wife early this year, and it's been fantastic.

Well I guess this isn't exactly a sports car but it cost me alot less that $100K (even with all the mods). It may not be real fast but it will go anywhere I want to take it and you should see people scramble to get out of my way when they see me comming up a highway onramp.

I gotta say I drove a 5 speed and get the same way some times. Tell her to use the E-Brake as she goes up. Kinda hard, but man it works...

Was that a grand national I saw on page 1?

Here's a pic of my car. Still one of my all time favorite cars produced in the 1990's.

If I had to choose any sports car under $100k? I'd probably take a nissan skyline.
