So the salmon cook off really seems to have been a hit. I've gotten quite a few PM's from different members telling me they really enjoyed it and that is awesome. I've also receive a few care packages along the way. For me being on the losing end of the competition, I still feel like a winner :laugh:

Today I received a nice thank you package from Norcal, not necessary, but very much appreciated.

On top of that, last week swissy sent me a care package full of Alaskan Goodies. I truly see now why he won the competition, his salmon is awesome. It gives me a great example of what to do!

Again, this website never ceases to amaze me, the members just keep on giving, and in the spirit of the whole "pass it forward" I intend on doing just that.

Next week I pull out all the guns...a couple of you are getting targeted, and targeted in a big way! :whistling:

There's no such thing as a loser on this site! (when they do occasionally pop up, they always manage to 'out' themselves and get banned fairly quickly)

There's an amazing vibe about this place that makes even the most humble of humidors proud to be open for their fellow BOTL's. Enjoy the 'losings', the cook-off was indeed a great idea and fun to watch as well!

This is a great comment! I feel the exact same way. The guys on this forum have welcomed me with open arms and made me feel a part of this community. I have extremely empressed with the generosity of information as well as smokes!
