A bit cold today so just a small corto while warming up next to my deck heater

They weren’t that great upon release I’m told, but have come into their own it seems. “They almost didn’t even seem Cuban back then.” Kind of harsh I remember from the one Kevin @Light this! gifted me ... Different, but in a good way now.

Started off with a Punch with my morning coffee. It was pretty decent but I don’t see it entering the rotation.

Now I’m enjoying a Hemingway classic with some Irish coffee. This round was much better!

I like just about everything I've tried from Crowned Heads -- except for the Headley Grange. I was disappointed in that fact, considering the Led Zeppelin naming reference . I haven't tried that vitola, though. Maybe a better wrapper ratio will do the trick.

The Drumstick was always my favorite of the line.

Wife had some positive patients out of the covid unit and worked with some discharge patients today. Good day overall. Our orthopaedic clinic is still doing good as well so deserves a good smoke.

Generally, I enjoy them and find them very underrated. This one was smoked outside where it has been dreary, rainy, and wet the last few days. Even from the dry box it quickly became difficult to keep lit and then became bitter.

98 SLR Lonsdale from a 50 cab I bought several years ago. The dress box version never even can come close to these, and I always consider them a special treat.
